The African Inter-Party Dialogue Network (AIPDN) is delighted to welcome the Forum du Justiciable (FJ) of Senegal as a new partner member.
The Forum du Justiciable is a Senegalese civil society organisation working to promote justice, human rights, good governance and the rule of law. Founded by young jurists, the organisation brings a strong youth-driven perspective to civic engagement and democratic participation.
A key strength of the Forum is its commitment to empowering young people as active citizens. Through civic education, legal awareness, advocacy and public engagement, it encourages young people to understand their rights and responsibilities and to participate constructively in Senegal's democratic processes.
For AIPDN, this youth-centred approach is particularly valuable. Africa has a predominantly young population, and meaningful youth participation is essential to building inclusive, peaceful and resilient democracies.
The Forum du Justiciable's membership therefore adds an important youth and civil society dimension to the AIPDN network and creates new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and initiatives promoting youth participation, dialogue, justice and democratic governance.
AIPDN warmly welcomes the Forum du Justiciable to the network and looks forward to a strong and impactful partnership in advancing inclusive democratic dialogue across Africa.
