Inter-party dialogue strengthens democracy, promotes peace, and fosters inclusive governance in Africa. Despite its importance, dialogue is often ad hoc and underutilized. AIPDN supports structured, inclusive, and sustainable dialogue through research, policy guidance, facilitation, and capacity-building, helping political parties contribute to stronger institutions, national cohesion, and resilient societies across the continent.

The Inter-Party Committee (IPC) and AIPDN, with the support of TrustAfrica, convene leaders of all 22 registered political parties, the Independent Electoral Commission, civil society, and development partners to review the revised inter-party Memorandum of Understanding and a proposed Political Parties Code of Conduct.
